Obverse: Shield bearing the arms of Chili, surmounted by plumes, and supported by a horse rampant and a condor, each crowned. Legend: "REPUBLICA DE CHILE (Republic of Chile), the mintmark (S with a superimposed o), and the date at the bottom.
Reverse: A statue of liberty clad in mail, with her hand resting upon a column upon which is inscribed " CONSTITUCION." Legend: "IGUALDAD ANTE LA LEI" (Equality Before the Law). Exergue: "10 P" (10 Pesos or 10 Dollars). Date of the year of issue. Weight: 235.358 grains. Fineness: 900.
