Gold Louis d'or (Gold Louis) coin issued during the Reign of Louis XV and struck during 1729 at the Lille mint. This early type often reffered to as "aux lunettes", which means with glasses reffering to the oval shields and crown, which look like large glasses. A beautiful, rare coin and a solid investment with historical importance.
